KATO WAKE

Beginners to advanced

Includes all lunches, two dinners, daily snacks, yoga. 5 full days, $485 + GST


Spend a week expressing your unique creative gift under the watchful eye of instructor Kato Wake. This is a loose but structured week – inviting you to begin new works or work on existing ones. Daily 'lessons' will spark new ideas, challenge, educate and inspire. Colour, shape, line, collage, abstraction, landscape, personal storytelling and art history will be incorporated. Work in acrylics or any medium you choose – large or small, paper, wood or canvas. For all levels. Kato's teaching style is fun, dynamic, personal and inspiring. An intimate holiday with your highest artist self!

PAINTS: acrylic (recommended because they are faster drying)
oil or watercolour. (Email me katowake@sympatico.ca if you would like to discuss your palette)
Brushes – an assortment: thin, med and wide
Spray water bottle
rags, paper towels
apron
wax paper or disposable pallets
plastic spoons or pallet knives
plastic containers for mixing and for water
painting surfaces...board, canvas, wood...whatever is rocking your world
sketch paper (something medium quality...not newsprint) for
exercises...14x18?
black construction paper
ruler
xacto knife
glue
pencils 2B, 4B, 6B
white eraser
charcoal
Indian ink

WINE AND BEER will be served at the opening and closing night dinners only.
