Take place in our gorgeous 2,000 square foot studio, in our brand
new downtown Toronto Liberty Village location: 23R Atlantic Avenue...with
18 foot high ceilings...We offer to beginners through advanced a wide
range of drawing and painting (acrylic/watercolour), writing (prose/poetry)
and meditation, yoga and journaling workshops.

to find their very own creative marks.
PAINT IN STUDIO - We are trying something new this year! So many of our participants are workshopped out...would love a place to come and paint, with each other, enjoying gourmet meals, palates/yoga, the company of other artists, great books, DVDs....by the river, quiet, peaceful, where they will be able to paint at their own pace..indoors or out....so here we go!

Weekender workshop: For everyone who has ever wanted to paint, draw, or make art, but who thinks they can't. They CAN! You just have to want to. Intensive, inspirational, informational, fast-paced and geared to de-mystify and clarify the whole process. Fun, easy, clear. I'll give the same workshop I teach in Africa to people who have never held a paint brush, with drawing, painting, landscapes, still life, abstracts, using mixed media, acrylic, latex, charcoal, pastel, markers. EVERYONE CAN DO IT!

SEPTEMBER
PURPLE HILLS 2010 STUDIO TOUR
Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26th. 10am. -5pm
Participants who created work at the Creativity Art Retreat during our 2008 workshops are invited to bring up and hang two framed paintings at our studio gallery during the tour, either for sale or not. This event draws hundreds of people from around the province and offers us a fabulous chance to see our work in a professonal setting with that of other wonderful artists. Participants are asked to help in the hanging of the show, or if possible to help at the gallery for a few hours during the tour. It is exciting and fun....and a great end to the summer....
